About Us - and Long Beach Island, New Jersey

ShoreisFineArt.com, sure is a silly name. But it's easy to remember and it combines two of the things we love – the Jersey Shore and great fine art. And that just happens to be what we sell here. Original fine art featuring inspiration from the Jersey Shore, surfing, the ocean, and specifically LBI - Long Beach Island.

We've spent many years soaking up the sun and frolicking in the ocean and the bay on L.B.I. and at the Jersey Shore. We hope you enjoy the island lifestyle and relaxed living that it offers as much as we do. This website let's you bring some of that into your home, beach house, office, or wherever you may be. So that you can live it every day. We want to share the inspiration the Island has given us, with you, and hope that it brings happiness and joy into your life too.

Founded by local artist Richard Cardona and his wife Alison Judah, ShoreisFineArt.com offers original, unique works of art from both artists.

A brief bio - Richard Cardona:

Richard Cardona is a painter and printmaker living and working in the summer in Beach Haven Terrace, on Long Beach Island. He learned how to surf on LBI and has been surfing here for over 27 years. He received his MFA from Tyler School of Art at Temple University, and studied at Tyler's MFA Painting program abroad in Rome. Richard has exhibited his work at galleries across the US and in Italy, Spain and Portugal. His work is in several large private collections. Richard was also the director of Pentimenti Gallery, in Philadelphia in the early 1990's, and helped to establish Olde City as the art district of Philadelphia, with his involvement in First Friday. Richard is also a Creative Director/Art Director at Hypno, a small marketing and design agency based in Moorestown, NJ with his wife and partner Alison Judah. This is Hypno.
